Why not 3.14.11 instead?


And what about upgrading master to 3.15.4?

3.14.x would be interesting to keep as it's a long term version (up to
August 2016).

I pondered about it. I am not sure it'd be good or not to go for now.
I'd be more intended to go to 3.16 and target this one for 1.7.
